While warning against the insistence of some parties to continue adopting destructive positions, and statements, Nasser Kanaani added: "We recommend that the European Union avoid accusations based on false information."

Regarding the destructive approach of the Westerners to using the obsolete weapon of sanctions, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "Unfortunately, some Western parties are addicted to the imposition of sanctions; A path that not only does not help to solve the problems but is itself a part of the problem and will face Iran's response."
In a post on his X account, Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, condemned what he called the delivery of Iranian-made ballistic missiles to Russia and announced new sanctions against those involved.
Borrell noted that the European Union's position on Iran's participation in Russia's war has always been clear, and now the European Union "will respond swiftly and in coordination with international partners".
Sanctions by the US, UK, France, and Germany
The US, UK, France, and Germany have already slapped their sanctions on Iran over the allegations, despite denial by Iran.
On Tuesday, the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany - known as the E3 – stated what they alleged was “Iran’s export and Russia’s procurement of Iranian ballistic missiles.”
They also decided to “cancel bilateral air services agreements with Iran” and announced that they would work towards imposing sanctions against Iran Air, the country’s national airliner.
Tehran has repeatedly dismissed Western allegations of its involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war.
