“Backtracking from support for Palestine serves Israeli regime”

A Syrian university professor says those who backtrack from their support for Palestine are in fact serving the United States and Israeli regime.

Aedeh Talib, in an address to the fourth webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference slammed the Arab countries for do not support the Palestinians in face of the Israeli atrocities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“Palestinians have been betrayed by the Arab countries”, she said.
 
The Syrian thinker demanded, “Why should not Muslims be united when their holy book, prayer and Hajj pilgrimage is the same? She stressed that the commonalities must be highlighted rather than the differences.”
 
Aedeh Talib emphasized the ways to expand Islamic fraternity and said,” fraternity arms Muslims against enemies.”
 
The remarks by the Syrian university professor came in an address to the Shia and Sunni elites attending the first webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference on the Islamic cooperations which is this year focused on resolving the issue of Palestine.
 
More than 200 Muslim thinkers, activists and professors exchange views in webinars held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), 14-20 September.
