Esam AlDin Gukalan, in his remarks at the eleventh webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference condemned Israeli regime for committing any possible crime since its October 7 onslaught on Gaza that killed thousands of people in the besieged strip, most of them women and children, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“We witnessed the pro-Palestine protests in graduation ceremonies, Olympic Games and other international events where protesters cried out their opposition with the Israeli crimes against Palestinian civilians”, added the Iranian scholar.
He called on the intellectuals participating the Islamic Unity Conference to take action in support of Palestinians stressing that the final communique of the conference could contribute to resolving the sufferings of the Palestinians.
The senior Sunni scholar, Esam Al Din Gukalan, made the remarks in the online section of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
