A prominent Iranian cleric, Sayyed Hassan Khomeini, has highlighted the confrontation with Israeli regime as number one priority for the world of Islam.

The grandchild of the late founder of Islamic revolution stressed,” There is no priority, for Muslims, more important than stemming the Israeli infectious tumor”, reported Taqrib New Agency (TNA).
 
The senior cleric made the remarks in a meeting with the guests to the 38th Islamic Unity Conference who paid visit to the mausoleum of late Imam Khomeini (RA), in southern Tehran on Thursday.
 
He said,” What form of unity is better when the Shias in Lebanon are martyred in support of the Sunni Muslims in Palestine?”
 
Sayyed Hassan Khomeini said unity does not translate to reverting from one’s ideologies.
 
He warned that the Islamic civilization would collapse if Muslims highlight the minor differences and marginalize the Islamic principles.
 
A group of Shia and Sunni clerics attending the 38th Islamic Unity Conference renewed vows with the late founder of the Islamic revolution in a visit to the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA).
