Cleric urges Muslims to note Islamic unity as hurdle for Israeli atrocities on Gaza
A prominent Sunni scholar in Iran has called on Muslims to note that once they are united, the Israeli regime would not be able to attack Gaza or any other Islamic territory.

Mamusta ibn Khayyat, the Friday prayer leader of Saqqez city in Iran’s Kurdistan province, hailed the resistance fighters in Yemen, Lebanon, Iran and other countries for confronting Israeli atrocities stressing the power of Muslims to stand against enemies once they are united, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He warned against world Zionism as the common enemy of all Muslims and called on the Islamic communities to mightily stand against the Israeli regime.
The cleric stressed compassion and cooperation as a religious mandate among Muslims and said,” We should all be united in the face of our enemy.”
Mamusta ibn Khayyat hailed the global pro-Palestine protests and said,” Human conscience would not admit that all people across the world rise in defense of the Palestinians in Gaza while Muslims show no response to defend their brothers.”
The Iranian cleric made the comments in his speech at the 14th webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with Emphasis on Palestine Issue”.
More than 200 Shia and Sunni scholars also attended the 38th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference in the Iranian capital Tehran.
