Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - He said looming challenges required that all parties face them with national responsibility, highlighting the necessity to resume political change-aimed efforts in a bid to bolster partnership.
Khalil, who is also a member of the Liberation and Development parliamentary bloc and Speaker Nabih Berri's political aid, made these remarks while patronizing an educational ceremony in Saksakiyeh village in the South.
He underlined the obligation to endeavor to put forth a proportionality-based electoral law as well as to work to ratify administrative decentralization.
Turning to Syria, the Minister cautioned against what he termed as "erroneous political practices," feared to drag the country into a regional conflict.
He reiterated that Lebanon's welfare lied within Syria's stability, couching "security in Lebanon depends on that in Syria."
