Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi has warned that the region is facing a dangerous challenge in a state of alarm.

The senior Iranian official made the remarks upon arrival to Baghdad airport as part of his regional tour, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Regarding the measures by Israeli regime for intensifying tensions in the region he said,” We do not seek war but we stand ready for any scenario.”
 
Abbas Araghchi denounced the Israeli regime for hindering the delivery of humanitarian aids to Lebanon vowing that Tehran will continue sending aids for the displaced Lebanese people.
 
Following his arrival to the Iraqi capital, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi paid a visit to the site where Iran's top anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated in a US drone strike in 2020.
 
Araghchi is making the visit to the neighboring country Iraq following his earlier trips to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Lebanon in order to discuss the regional issues.
