Islamic Organization Condemns Israeli Aggression on Iran
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a strong condemnation of Israel's recent assault on Iran, describing the attack on October 26, 2024, as a severe breach of international law and the UN Charter. The strike resulted in the deaths of four Iranian military officers and one civilian.

The OIC further warned that Israel's continued hostility—particularly in occupied Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon—threatens regional peace and security. It urged the UN Security Council to take immediate and decisive measures to uphold international peace.
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), comprising 121 countries, also condemned the attack, highlighting it as a "grave violation" of Iran's sovereignty. The NAM's statement echoed the OIC’s demand for accountability and described the incident as a deliberate assault by Israel.
In response to the attack, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council, noting the coordinated airstrikes in Iran’s Khuzestan, Ilam, and Tehran provinces. Araghchi reported that Iran’s air defense intercepted most missiles but that the attack resulted in the deaths of four Iranian officers, whose actions were praised for defending national security.
Iran’s UN ambassador, Amir Saeed Iravani, expressed deep concern, criticizing the United States for its unwavering support of Israel, which he claimed has emboldened Israeli aggression in Gaza, Lebanon, and now Iran.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, also addressed the situation, stating that Iran would respond firmly to any actions against its interests, whether from Israel or the United States. He reaffirmed that Iran would not overlook the assault and promised that those responsible would face "a firm response."
The OIC and other international entities now await the UN Security Council’s response, emphasizing that such escalations pose a serious threat to regional stability.
