The first international conference on ‘Human Dignity and Family Challenges in Contemporary World’ will be held in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad on Monday.

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, will respond to questions at the press briefing of the conference at Ferdowsi University in Mashhad on Sunday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The conference will make one of a series of meetings for the academicians, researchers and intellectuals from across the world of Islam to discuss the key issues of Muslims in contemporary world.

The topic for the present edition of the rotatory conference is protection and transcendence of human dignity in contemporary world as each edition of the conference will discuss one of the major issues challenging Muslim citizens across the globe.

Ferdowsi University of Mashhad hosts the three-day event beginning on Sunday November 10.
