Intl. conference on human dignity and family challenges kicks off in Mashhad
The first edition of the international conference on “Human Dignity and Family Challenges in Modern World” has kicked off in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad.

A number of university professors, elites as well as cultural and religious figures are attending the conference held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The participants to the opening ceremony will hold three expert-level meetings to discuss the axes announced for the conference.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, attending the press briefing held a day earlier, said a network of academies from the world of Islam will discuss the axis of the conference which is human dignity and the challenges of family in modern world.
The cleric noted that the conference will endeavor to find solutions for the current challenges threatening the families and human values.
The conference will make one of a series of meetings for the academics, researchers and intellectuals from across the world of Islam to discuss the key issues of Muslims in contemporary world.
The topic for the present edition of the conference is protection and transcendence of human dignity in contemporary world and each edition of the conference will discuss one of the major issues challenging Muslim citizens across the globe.
