The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has called for prosecution of all political and military officials of the Israeli regime.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the call in a message issued on his social media X in Hebrew language on Saturday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).


The call by Ayatollah Khamenei comes following the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant over war crimes and crimes against humanity in the besieged Gaza Strip.

In their decision, the ICC judges said there were reasonable grounds to believe Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant were criminally responsible for murder, prosecution and starvation as a weapon of war on the ‘civilian population of Gaza.’

The arrest warrants for the Israeli officials by the international tribunal are issued after 13 months of deadly air and ground strikes against Palestinians and all civilian infrastructures in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The regime’s genocidal war across Gaza has left more than 44,000 people dead injuring over 103,000 others.
