Palestinian journo killed in Israeli strike on Gaza

Another Palestinian journalist has lost his life in Israeli regime atrocities against the besieged Gaza Strip.

Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) said the death of journalist Wael Abu Quffa has increased to 189 the number of Palestinians killed since the regime unleashed its genocidal war on Gaza.

According to the GMO, the deceased journalist was a lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Media at the Islamic University, who also worked as a journalist for the Educational Quran Radio – Voice of the Islamic University.

The Office strongly condemned the targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation army and holds it fully responsible for committing this heinous crime.

It called on the international community and relevant international organizations involved in journalism worldwide to deter Israel, pursue it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and pressure it to stop the genocidal war in Gaza and the killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists.
