Hamas delegation and Palestinian tribal leaders meet in Cairo

A Hamas delegation headed by Dr Khalil Al-Hayya and Dr Basem Naim met with the Commissioner-General of the Supreme Authority for Palestinian Tribal Affairs, Akif Al-Masry, in Cairo on Sunday. Al-Hayya briefed the tribal leader on the recent meetings with the aim of finding ways to stop the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Masry also called for an end to the genocide and ethnic cleansing, and for the flow of humanitarian aid, medical supplies and other relief for the people of the Gaza Strip to be speeded up. Reconstruction, he added, should also begin.
The two parties stressed that Palestinian national unity is the correct way to cut short all conspiracies being hatched against their people, most notably the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
They also praised Egyptian efforts to stop the Israeli offensive in Gaza and Egypt’s constant embrace of the Palestinian factions, as well as its keenness to defend the rights of the Palestinian people in all international forums.
