A week after terrorist attack in Saravan border checkpoint in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, the following points seem to be noticeable. The terrorist attack led to killing of 12 border guards while five people were injured and four others were taken as hostage.

One of the points to be maintained is that a newly launched group, Jaish ul Adl, has claimed responsibility of the attack. The statement issued by the group shows that the group is similar to MKO terrorist group and at the same time it refers to issues like Syria crisis revealing the role of losers in Syria war in the formation of the group and shows that the group is functioning as a representative of the losers of Syria war headed by the Zionist regime and some Arab states including Saudi Arabia which is claimed to be in charge of funding the group.
In fact the losers of Syria war are those who are opposing a peaceful solution for Iran’s nuclear program regarding the developments made in this field; therefore, they are all making their best to damage Islamic Republic of Iran. From this view it can be said that those against a peaceful solution for Iran’s nuclear program and a diplomatic solution for Syria crisis are trying to disturb a Sunni-dominated area in Iran and this necessitates utmost vigilance of security officials and also the people in these areas.
The second point in terrorist operation in Saravan was the awareness of the people, particularly Sunni clerics whose severe condemnation of the terror attacks and the agents behind them prevented efforts to fuel a religious intrigue in Sistan and Baluchestan foiling the measure filing that beside many other similar vein efforts.
Certainly the people in Sistan and Baluchestan are enthusiastic towards development in these areas though their objective, which is on the agenda of the government, would realize only when security prevails in the whole region.
Hence, the people in the area are fully aware that those who conduct such operations under the leadership of the enemies and opponents of Islamic Republic of Iran, are in fact postponing the development of the province bringing the greatest damage to the rights of the people.
The third point in Saravan terrorist attack is negligence of Pakistan government in fulfilling the security of border areas. Since the agents of this crime attacked from Pakistan territory and had to withdraw after resistance of Iranian guards, Iranian government, nation and the families of the victims expect Islamabad to probe into the case immediately and either punishes the criminals or leave them to Iran to do so. Pakistan is supposed to show full cooperation to the point that Iranian government is not needed to enter the neighboring territory to arrest the terrorists. Based on previous experiences, terrorists and especially Takfiri groups do not recognize any borderline and have even attacked their own supporters, which is a good lesson for Pakistani officials.
However it is quite necessary that Iran completes the security measures in borderline including construction of a wall and building barriers.
In this line Iranian government, in a bid to control its border with Pakistan and Afghanistan, started construction of a wall in 1990 which is due to be completed in 2015. The measure aims at closing about 1’800 kilometers of border with Pakistan and Afghanistan to control drug trafficking and confrontation with terrorist groups that have disturbed border areas. This wall, which in some points is only a barrier of barbed wire, is strengthened with 1’000 kilometer of cement canals, cavern and levee.
Still another point in this terrorist attack is ignorance of regional and international bodies on condemnation of the attack, same countries whose media carefully focused on execution of 16 drug smugglers. Eight people among them were arrested for carrying five to 20 kilograms of heroin. While many western media are standing up for these drug traffickers, it is noteworthy that the major part of these narcotics was supposed to be transited to Europe. Others were sentenced to death due to belligerence, corruption and membership in grouplets like Jund-ul- Sheitan or participating in terrorist operations in Sistan and Baluchestan in recent years.
However it seems that if the execution of these criminals happened in another time, the way for misuse of some western media would be blocked and international community would pay more attention to Saravan terrorist attack.
Finally, wide participation of the people in funeral ceremony of Saravan terrorist attack martyrs brought back images of war time in Iran showing the awareness of the people, their vigilant observation of any move made by the enemies and their prompt reply to such hostile moves. Eventually those who made the least contribution for Saravan terrorist attack have ensured the deep hatred of the Iranian nation towards themselves.
