Raisi: Any new adventure will be met with a harsher, regrettable response
Following the powerful operation against the Zionist regime, the Iranian president in a message stated that according to the guidelines of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and with the support of the proud nation and the powerful armed forces of Iran, any new adventure against the interests of the Iranian nation would be met with a heavier and regrettable response.

This defensive measure, which was within the framework of the inherent right of legitimate defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was in response to the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime against the goals and interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially, an Israeli airstrike on 1 April 2024 which destroyed the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing 16 people, including a senior Quds Force commander, Raisi noted.
Raisi added that the message of last night's hybrid operation was authority and deterrence for the Islamic Ummah and fear and humiliation for the enemies of humanity.
He went on to say: "During the last six months and especially the last ten days, the Islamic Republic of Iran used all the regional and international capacities and facilities to draw the attention of the international community to the deadly dangers resulting from the inaction of the United Nations Security Council against the continuous violations of the Zionist regime. Still, unfortunately, the Security Council under the influence of the United States and some other supporters of the Zionist regime have been prevented from fulfilling their duties."
Raisi added that The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the peace and stability of the surrounding region to be necessary for its national security and has not spared any efforts to restore and maintain peace and stability The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to advance the neighborhood policy and promote friendship and cooperation among neighboring countries.
Iran's president in his message noted: "Resistance is the keyword used to restore peace and security in the region and to negate occupation and terrorism of any kind. The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the origin of the crisis in West Asia to be the genocide and violence of the Zionist regime, thus Iran will not spare any effort to maintain stability and security in the region."
Raisi emphasized that following the instructions of Iran's Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, and with the support of the proud nation and the powerful armed forces of Islamic Iran, any new adventure against the interests of the Iranian nation will be met with a heavier and regrettable response from the Islamic Republic of Iran. 2
