Jordan appreciates Iran's efforts to stop Gaza war
The Jordanian Foreign Minister, appreciating the diplomatic efforts of Iran to stop the war against Gaza, in a meeting with the Iranian Foreign minister said that as the Palestinian issue is of high priority Jordan continues its efforts to end the war against Gaza.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, in continuation of his diplomatic meetings in New York, met with Ayman Safadi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan.
Amir-Abdollahian considered the continuation of America's support for the Zionist regime and the country's unwillingness to end the war alongside Netanyahu's warmongering approach as the main reason for the continuation of the genocide against the Palestinians and emphasized the need for the continuation of the efforts of the international community, especially Islamic countries, to end the genocide.
In this conversation, Amir-Abdollahian, while explaining the necessity and dimensions of the military action of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the framework of legitimate defense which was a warning and punitive response to the brazen attack of the Israeli regime on Iran's embassy in Damascus, emphasized that Iran's military action was very precise and calculated against the military and intelligence bases that were the source of the attack on the diplomatic location of Iran in Damascus.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the determination of the Islamic Republic of Iran to help strengthen peace and stability in the region and added that this military response to Israel's attack was only a limited operation, and in case of any further adventurous action by the Israeli regime, this time Iran's response will be decisive, immediate and maximum.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the current dire situation in occupied Palestine and the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing crimes and aggressions of the Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Palestine, calls for decisive action by the international community, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its member countries, in confronting this regime and Its crimes were stopped.
Ayman Safadi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, while expressing his satisfaction with this meeting and thanking the diplomatic efforts of Iran to stop the war against Gaza, said that the Palestinian issue is of high priority for Jordan and we will continue our efforts to end the war against Gaza.
He called the situation in Palestine complicated, and explaining the current political efforts, he said that Jordan will continue its efforts to stop the war against Gaza with all possible means.
He explained his country's views on the political solution to the Palestinian crisis. He also emphasized Jordan's firm opposition to any attempt to relocate Palestinians to neighboring countries.
He considered the views of Jordan and Iran on the need to end the war against Gaza as soon as possible to be a common point of view and emphasized the continuation of efforts in this direction.
In this meeting, some bilateral and regional issues were also discussed.
