Iran says ready to supply sustainable energy to region
The Iranian Vice President and Head of Planning and Budget Organization of Iran, in a meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, said that despite the cruel sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to supply the sustainable energy needed by the countries of the region.

In this meeting, Iran's head of the Planinng and Budget Organization emphasized the need to expand cooperation and the role of development institutions such as ESCAP in promoting the development of countries, adding: "It is important to use the capacity of UN-affiliated institutions to develop regional cooperation, complete corridors and deal with drought."
Considering the importance of this year's ESCAP meeting, the Vice President emphasized the necessity of increasing the role of the digital economy in the future of the world economy and added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, while interested in using all the capacities of the United Nations in the path of sustainable development, is ready to cooperate in the field of digitalization too."
The Iranian head of the Planinng and Budget Organization also pointed to the lack of water resources as one of the most important challenges in the world, emphasizing: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with the United Nations in the field of water resources management.
Davod Manzour in the meeting of "Innovative management to deal with accidents and disasters to achieve sustainable development" reminded that the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken important steps to ensure the effective reduction of the risk of disasters and to include related issues in the discussions of national and local planning and budgeting management. and took a part, adding: "The number and severity of natural disasters increased in 2023 and this indicates the necessity of using a tool to adapt to these new conditions.
