"We are on the verge of a world in which Iran will be a great power, so it's supposed to learn the Persian language among the top six languages," answers the student Rabab El-Husseini when asked about the reason of learning Persian language in the Chancellery culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon. She assign her enthusiasm to the Imam Khomeini's urging to learn the Persian language as the language of resistance and revolution.

Travel, religion, cultural affinity, passion for learning languages ​​and other reasons are combined to form a unique phenomenon: "the growing steadily in learning the Persian language in Lebanon". 

Cultural Counselor Sayyed Mohamed Hussein Raeis Zadeh stressed for TNA "The growing demand to learn the Persian language, especially in the last four years, noting that these courses are not confined in the center of the Chancellery in Beirut, but There is also in some other cities such as Nabatiyeh, Baalbek, Tyre... 

He attributed this increase of learning the language to the "similarity of Persian and Arabic language, including participating in the alphabet and in some of the terms,in addition to the culture that holds these two languages."

He explained that the phases of learning the Persian language is six stages, then the student becomes able to speak and understand Persian language. Adding that "every year we send once or twice some of the successful students in these courses, especially in the sixth stage, to Iran to attend the courses for foreigners in Tehran or Isfahan or Shiraz." 

On the other hand, He explained the incentives earned by the graduated from the chancellery after the completion of the six sessions, saying: "This student will be able to communicate by Persian language through the Iranian media, also able to translate books from Persian to any language, he can be employed in some of the related departments of the Islamic Republic and can be a student Iran's Universites that offer scholarships in several majors.

About the activities taken by the chancellor in addition to teaching the Persian language, Sayyed Zadeh pointed that it contain conferences and seminars on topics related to the revolution and Iran and the common themes between Muslims and Christians.
As well as the establishment of the Iranian film week, exhibitions, cultural and artistic display of Iranian culture. 

The Chancellery issue some publications and literary studies and export such as "Cultural Iran" magazine, as well as cultural competitions, as happened this year in Competition of "Martyr Motahhari".

In her turn, Zainab Dmaondy a teacher in the Chancellery explained that "The Persian language is easier than the Arabic language," noting that "Persian language has a long history, so it is an advantage to be learned, especially in view of the civilization of Iran.

"The chancellor offer six stages of learning and in the sixth student get to possess a certificate from the University of Mashhad, "Ferdowsi".
