Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has met and discussed mutual cooperation with Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Jelena Tanaskovic in Belgrade on Monday.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Serbia have always declared their interest in developing and consolidating cooperation in all fields, including political, economic, defense, tourism, cultural, scientific, educational and sports, and in practice they have taken specific and important steps to prove their positive will.
Ebrahim Raisi met with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on Thursday in New York and stressed increasing political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
In the telephone call, Amir-Abdollahian congratulated the Serbian government and people on successfully holding parliamentary and presidential elections and re-electing Aleksandar Vučić as the country’s president.
