According to the memorandum, the two sides have announced their readiness to provide visa facilities for tourists from the two countries, as well as the exchange of laws, instructions and banking facilities in the field of tourism investment and investment in infrastructure projects, including hotel construction.
"Mohammad Kazem Ale-Sadegh", the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, in a meeting with "Mohammad Hossein Sufi", chairman and CEO of the Tourism and Automobile Association, referred to the increase in the number of religious and medical tourists applying to enter Iran saying that currently, many tourists travel to Iran for pilgrimage and medical treatment.
Based on the MoU signed on Monday in Tehran by Iranian RSC heads, Pir-Hossein Kolivand and Yasin Ahmad Abbas, the two countries would cooperate in such fields as medicines production and exports, medical equipment, rehabilitation services, and health tourism.
