The Palestinians resistance movement Hamas has rejected as ‘delusional’ the speech by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the US Congress explaining his plans for the future of the Gaza Strip without Hamas.

The Capitol police have arrested hundreds of Jewish activists protesting Washington’s military support for Israel inside a congressional building, a US-based Jewish peace group reported.

It was part of a larger coalition of roughly 100 demonstrators that had gathered at Union Station, Washington, D.C.’s main train station, before marching to the nearby Capitol.

In a letter sent to members of Congress, more than 60 US rights organizations have renewed their calls to members of congress to support the Justice for Shireen Act (H.R. 3477) bill.

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has warned of endeavors by the Republican House minority leader Kevin McCarthy to remove her from the House Foreign Affairs Committee accusing McCarthy and the Republican Party of attacking her with “Islamophobia and racism”.
