The current value of damaged and destroyed buildings and infrastructure is estimated at some 10 per cent of Syria's gross domestic product, the Bank said in a statement after releasing what it described as a broad but preliminary damage estimate.
A total of 109,574 tents, 246 living containers, and 1,500 mobile hygiene units have been brought to Turkiye with the coordination of foreign representatives, according to a graphic the Ministry shared on Twitter.
It said the two minor earthquakes struck at a depth of 1 and 2 km underground respectively, adding that the latitude and longitude of the first one were found to be 32.13 degrees and 35.33 degrees.
"The fault line that broke in Turkiye is nearly 350 kilometres (217.5 miles) long. It is a very long fault line covering a large area," Tony Nemer, a geologist at Beirut American University in the Lebanese capital, told Anadolu.
The third earthquake at 10:36 a.m. today - Wednesday, June 15- was recorded in Hormozgan province near Jennah county. The National Seismological Center announced its longitude as 54.4 degrees and its latitude as 26.96 degrees, which is at a depth of 8 kilometers.
