Speaking at the meeting of the anti-narcotics headquarters on Saturday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that from the beginning of Iran's Islamic revolution victory, the Islamic Republic has been a pioneer in the serious fight against drug trafficking, but other countries have not fulfilled their responsibilities in this regard. 

In a decree, the Head of Taliban Hibatullah Akhundzada banned the cultivation of any plant used to produce narcotics in Afghanistan.
