In a statement released today, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and the ongoing war as critical issues on the international political agenda that necessitate resolution.
The Prime Minister of Norway announced in a news conference that his country will recognize the state of Palestine starting May 28, in line with international laws and Security Council resolutions.
As recommended by the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, the country's Cabinet has determined that the formal recognition of Palestine by the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago will assist in the achievement of a lasting peace by strengthening the growing international consensus on the issue of Palestinian statehood.
“I will propose granting Spain’s recognition to the Palestinian state,” Sánchez said. “I do this out of moral conviction, for a just cause and because it is the only way that the two states, Israel and Palestine, can live together in peace.”
