Change of unity discourse to social behavior

Mohammad Nazemi Ardakani, deputy of social affairs at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) detailed the conference on “Performing the Strategy of Diplomacy of Unity in the World of Islam” and said to change the discourse of unity into a social behavior is the main target of the convention.

He said,” According to the statement by the Supreme Leader appointing Ayatollah Araki as the secretary general of the World Forum, the prospect for the institution has been defined as to form unified Islamic nation against arrogant powers and the strategy for realization of the prospect is the diplomacy of unity.”

He added,” The major strategy for the upcoming meeting is to involve full capacity of different walks of life through form and support proximity institutions in the world of Islam which are titled as world unions.”

Mohammad Nazemi Ardakani referred to three decades of the world forum history and noted that the center has pursued dialogue-centered international meetings and added that to found pro-proximity societies is in fact the grounds for these unity discourses so that these discourses are applied into different social layers.

He counted the elites, thinkers, artists, athletes, university professors, poets, authors, political activists and women as the people with special social levels who have been involved in Islamic unity societies so that the discourse of unity turns into a social behavior.

According to the world forum’s deputy of social affairs noted that among other objectives behind founding pro-proximity unions is to create a social asset in the world of Islam because each one of these unions can act as a center to link the Islamic nations and governments.

He stressed,” Muslim population in the world exceeds 1.5 billion people and once a constructive relation is based between them, they are empowered to play an effective role in the present era.”
