Enemies after distancing Muslims from Islam

One of the officials at Imam Reza's (PBUH) holy shrine, Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisie demanded religious clerics to a good model for all walks of people in the Islamic society and continue shouldering the responsibility of guiding their followers, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Referring to enemies' willful try to undermine the high status of clerics in the society, Ayatollah Ebrahim Raeisie pointed out, " in the here and now, Muslims' foes are trying their best to tarnish the holy face of clerics projective a faked image of them in a bid to distance Islamic nations from the divine religion of Islam."

Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisie highlighted the necessity of abiding by Islamic ordinances and principles stressing, "Sharia law consists of humane values and the self-control principles."

Holding religious scholars as the inheritors of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and infallible Imams, the senior cleric underscored, "one of the important duties upon religious scholars and thinkers is to understand religious connotations, explaining as well the lifestyles of the infallibles."

The grand Ayatollah went on to say, "the revered religious clerics invite people towards the religion through their tongue and character. Given that they should take the cognizance of different factors casting a shadow in this process."

Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisie mentioned, "Religious leaders have taken an oath on two important cases."

Holding the education of people as the first obligation, Ayatollah Seyyed Raeisie named securing justice in the society and informing people as the second duty upon clerics.
