Ascending path for Islamic proximity, surrender for Takfir
Top deputy from Islamic unity center stressed proximity media is a school where followers of all Islamic denominations are taught in it.

Seyyed Ahmad Zarhani, strategic deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, on the sideline of 22nd Press Exhibition in Tehran, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) noted showing the ways for Islamic solidarity as the most important mission of a proximity-themed media.
He referred to importance of proximity media and solidarity among Muslims as the biggest concern for the Supreme Leader and said,” Based on that the Supreme Leader, few years ago, called a year as the year for national unity and Islamic solidarity.”
He referred to measures taken by Takfiri (excommunication) groups in the world of Islam and noted,” At present, Takfiri groups are active in line with creating an illusionary and suffocating ambiance of terror and crackdown” adding,” We are in an opposite point with them and have hoisted the flag of unity and solidarity; hence, in this soft war waged against Islam by the world and creation of an unholy alliance between world arrogant powers and Takfiri groups, the media can illuminate public minds through an appropriate aiming and differentiate the right from unjust.”
Zarhani added,” There is no doubt that the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, as a popular movement in the world of Islam, is a pioneer of proximity media and the call for proximity was voiced from Iran after the Islamic Revolution. Imam Khomeini (RA) put particular stress on Muslim unity and also the Supreme Leader of the Islamic republic founded the World Forum almost three decades ago.”
He added,” Today proximity is on one side and Takfir is on the other. Fortunately proximity is in an ascending path and Takfir is on its descending path. For instance Sheikh Ahmad al Tayyeb highlights the necessity of proximity anc calls Shia and Sunni as two wings of Islam.”
He concluded,” Eventually, proximity media are in fact the forehead of proximity system and projectors which shed light on horizons ahead and the more effort they maintain the more effective they will be to foil the influence of Takfiri groups and arrogant powers.”
