Senior Cleric: Global Revenge Awaiting Israel for Crimes in Gaza

Addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people on Tehran University campus on Friday, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani said, "Israel should come to realize that humanity's tolerance is limited and if this tolerance becomes overwhelmed it is then that the occupying regime should wish for its own demise."

He noted that the news on the crimes of this brutal regime will gradually reach the people of the world and the international community will begin to know this wicked element.

Last month, Tehran's Provisional Friday Prayers Leader Hojjatoleslam Kazzem Seddiqi condemned Israel's ongoing attacks on the defenseless Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and said Israel is nearing its demise.

"Today the Iron Dome has failed and this miserable people (occupiers) are on the verge of complete destruction," Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi said.

He said that those countries that created Israel are plunderers in the international arena who Okay Israel's crimes through their rights of veto in the UN.

He pointed to the massacre of Gaza people, and said, "This calamity has disheartened the humanity and the Muslim countries who claim to be defenders of Human Rights should be awakened and see that this wolf (Israel) never shows mercy."

Israel has been pounding the blockaded Gaza for 25 consecutive days, killing at least 1,400 people and injuring more than 8,200 others.
