Iranian top star has won the award for leading actor at the first Islamic Unity International Film Festival praising the efforts of prominent Islamic unity center.

Ali Nasirian, prominent Iranian actor, participated the closing ceremony of first international Islamic unity film festival praising the maiden move made by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought to hold the festival with the theme of religion, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Certainly speeches, articles, books and conferences are quite important but the influence left by films and shows is expansive.”
 
According to the veteran, artist arts are not means to propaganda and once works of art are performed are carried out technically and properly then they will leave a long lasting effect.
 
Leading Iranian actor praised the efforts by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for holding film festival with the theme of Islamic unity stressing that to receive the award from this festival is a great honor.
 
First international Islamic unity film festival was held concurrent with 30th International Islamic Unity Conference in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

The winners of the international section of the festival were honored during the opening ceremony of the 30th edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran on Thursday December 15, 2016.
