“Diplomacy of unity helps resisting against division”: Sunni cleric

Mamusta Fayesgh Rostami, representative of Kurdistan in Parliament’s Assembly of Experts, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) warned that the enemies are applying intrigues and division to undermine unity among Muslims and demanded Muslim elites to propose solutions for reaching the diplomacy of unity.

He hailed the elites and scientists in the world of Islam and said,” It is especially important to be intelligent and vigilant in the present era since the enemies are in the battlefield fully armed and have targeted solidarity among Muslims.”

The cleric warned of hostile efforts to threaten solidarity of Muslims expressing regret that some countries are taken in by outside players imposing the biggest threat against their solidarity.

He praised the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of the most secure countries in the world and said the achievement is due to the unity of people and the government.

Representative of Kurdistan in the Assembly of Experts warned,” They (enemies) have hired some people to divide Muslims and possess the infrastructure of Islamic countries; therefore, we can stand against them by maintaining the diplomacy of unity.”

Mamusta Fayegh Rostami, stressed that institutionalizing the diplomacy of unity necessitates contribution and involvement of elites from all Islamic denominations and added,” Once these conferences are boosted and the results are practiced can lead to the diplomacy of unity.

Prominent Sunni scholar proposed involvement of thinkers from different denominations to bring solutions for the issues of the people and said,” Once Muslims are united, no one can undermine their solidarity.”
