Violence and extremism stem in ignorance

Addressing seminary students, the religious cleric Ayatollah Abdol Karim Farahani sternly warned Muslims of the fallouts of increasing extremism and violence in the world noting, "Violence is derived from human's ignorance," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Abdol Karim Farahani urged Muslims to gain wisdom and stand against extremism which of its nature is a global sickness.

“The roots of violence and extremism should be studied by all religious thinkers and elites ,” said the religious cleric urging religious clerics to step up and make a move in this area.

Elsewhere in his remark, Ayatollah Abdol Karim Farahani stressed when it comes to extremism and violence, many a group held religious differences as the main cause and reason for all these present showdowns; given that all Muslims should focus on their shared values and principle.

According to the religious cleric, all Islamic denominations put accentuation on kindness and mercy, githereupon Muslims are supposed to take their steps in this path.
