Anti-government protests in Lebanon has turned violent as thousands of demonstrators converged in Martyr’s Square calling for early Parliamentary elections and return of the looted state funds. The demos have taken the hue of sectarian violence as top Lebanese officials stress maintaining solidarity in the country.
