St Stepanos Monastery in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province (photo)

Located 15 kilometers west of Jolfa, East Azerbaijan, is a UNESCO-listed Armenian church, whose origins date back to St Bartholomew. The church's well-preserved exterior reliefs include Armenian crosses, saints and angels.
