Syria has held ceremony to commemorate the struggles by Iran's IRGC commander of Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani, and Iraq's deputy of Popular Mobilization Committee, Abu Mahdi Muhandes in the city of Tartus on Saturday. The ceremony was held on the first martyrdom anniversary of the two major counter-terrorism figures who were assassinated by US drone attack near Baghdad Airport. A photo exhibition held on the sideline of the conference was opened by the governor of Tartus, Safwan Abu Saada and Iranian ambassador to Syria, Javad Torkabadi.
