Iranians hold vigil on Laylat al-Qadr 1 (photo)

Iranians across the country hold vigil for three nights during Ramadan 19-21 known as Laylat al-Qadr or night of decree or Night of Power which is highly valued among Muslims. Holy Qur’an defines Laylat al-Qadr as “a night worth more than 1000 nights.” Qur’an reading, prayer and charity work are highly recommended in these nights.
