People across Iran clean mosques ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan when Muslims gather together for Qur'an recitation, communal prayers, religious meetings and prayers. People are particularly interested in the tradition as mosques are reopening to people and Ramadan ceremonies after two years of COVID-related restrictions.
