Iranians mark Eid al-Ghadir in Ten-Kilometer-Ghadir-Festival (photo)

People in the Iranian capital Tehran celebrated Eid al-Ghadir, which marks appointment of Imam Ali (AS) as the first imam of Muslims and a successor of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Millions of people attended the ceremony ‘Ten-Kilometer- Ghadir Festival’ which was held in the streets between Imam Hussein (AS) Square in east and Azadi Square to the west of the capital Tehran on Tuesday evening.
