Passion play shows martyrdom of Hazrat Abbas on day of Tasua (photo)

People in Lamerd, city in Iran’s Fars Province, watch the passion play that shows the martyrdom of Hazrat Abbas (AS), half-brother and closest companion of Imam Hussein (AS), who were both martyred in the Battle of Karbala. Tasua falls on ninth of Muharram, the first month in the Islamic lunar calendar which marks the martyrdom of Hazrat Abbas.
