“Unity among Muslims reveals anti-Arab approach of Zionism”
Malaysian professor from Academy of Islamic Studies in Malaya University Mohammad Fawzi bin Zakaria noted that solidarity among Islamic countries will acknowledge the Arab states that Zionism is not a friend for them and will remain the shared enemy of all Muslims.

Malaysian professor in an interview conducted on the sideline of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran expressed his views on the challenges and solutions ahead of Islamic unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said that in order to confront the challenges ahead of achieving Islamic unity, first Muslims should convene and this division and dispersion is the greatest issues of all Muslims.
He added,” A reason behind different views among Muslims is their understanding from the religion as a result of which disagreement among different denominations has appeared though the reason for division is political disagreements which have fueled the fan of religious disagreements.”
Malaysian professor named the holy book of Islam and Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as two legacies which will hold together and guide Muslims as far as the Islamic nation follows them.
He added,” The reason for division among Islamic countries is that Muslims do not cling to these two legacies of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Fawzi bin Zakaria also related on resistance against normalization of relations with Israeli regime among the axes of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference and said,” The practical solution against reconciliation with Zionists is unity among Muslim nations and clinging to the rope of Allah.
We are challenged by common enemy which is Zionism and by Zionism we do not mean Jews.
Malaysian thinker also referred to friendly ties between Malaysian government and all Palestinian groups and said,” Cooperation based on common endeavors among Islamic countries to pursue the Palestinian objective is a necessity and Malaysia will never let the issue of Palestine to be marginalized so that the intrigues for normalization of relations realize.”
He concluded,” If Islamic countries unite with each other, then even the Arab states who have signed normalization will understand that Zionism is not on their side and will remain our shared enemy until liberation of al-Quds.”
