“Khales Aydmir”, senior member of Diyanet organization in Türkiye, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sidelines of the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference noted that Islamic scholars discuss common values among Muslims in such conferences.
He pointed out that it is our belief that we worship one God and said: "we are already one Ummah and surely every part has some differences in details but we should bring forth our unity rather than those unimportant differences."
Referring to the recent terrorist attack in Turkish Interior Ministry, Aidmir emphasized that crimes against Islamic countries and Muslims continue and said: "They (criminals) are definitely enemies to Islam and all of us; therefore, Turks, Arabs and non-Arabs are not different for them."
He pointed out that in the view of the enemies, Muslims make a single Ummah and that is why they do not want peace of the single Ummah.
He noted that merely condemning terrorist and anti-Islamic attacks is not enough and concluded: "this conference is not a condemnation but a practical action against these crimes. More gatherings like this should be held so that there is a decisive response against these crimes."
Senior member of Diyanet organization in Türkiye expressed his view to TNA on the sideline of the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference recently held in Tehran.
