Muslims not hindering other religions when in control of al-Aqsa Mosque
A senior Iranian cleric said Al-Aqsa Mosque has been holy to all religions and safe to all their followers whenever under Muslims’ control.

Molavi Es’haq Madani, the chairman of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his speech at a conference on “Palestine, Compass for Islamic Unity” referred to liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque as a constant issue for Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” All prophets from Moses, Jesus Christ, Jacob, Abraham and Prophet Mohammad (PBUT) shared the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.”
The Iranian Sunni scholar hailed al-Aqsa Mosque as a place respected by all religions and added,” When in control of the holy site, Muslims were no obstacle for other religions, though how have Jews responded to that respect?”
He deplored the Israeli regime for not sparing any oppression and crime against Muslims.
His remarks came as media sources report constant limitations imposed by Israeli regime against Muslims particularly during the fasting month of Ramadan.
