Millions of Shiites recite Dua-e-Arafa at congregations across Pakistan

In Karachi, main congregation was held at Masjid Khair ul Amal Incholi. Qari Mubashir Zaidi recited Dua-e-Arafa at a congregation attended by thousands of people.

Allama Aftab Haider Jafri spoke at Majlis-e-Aza on the martyrdom anniversary of Muslim Bin Aqeel, the envoy and cousin of Imam Hussain (AS) who Imam Hussain (AS) had sent to Kufa (Iraq).

Imamia Students Organisation organize this event every year. However, Shia Muslims belonging to different groups attend the congregation.

Hujjat ul Islam Maulana Sadiq Raza Taqvi recited Dua-e-Arafa at another venue in Karachi.

Allama Aijaz Beheshti, Allama Amin Shaheedi and other religious scholars recited and spoke at Dua-e-Arafa congregation in Islamabad and at other places in Punjab province.

In Sindh, Maulana Imami, Maulana Raza Mohammad Saeedi, and other religious scholars recited Dua-e-Arafa.

Similar reports were received from Balochistan, Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan province.

First, Imam Hussain (AS) recited Dua-e-Arafa in the desert of Arafat, Mecca. Shia pilgrims recite this pray (dua) at Arafat Desert.

Shia Muslims hold congregations for Dua-e-Arafa with enthusiasm since Islamic revolution in Iran because that revived many traditions of Shia Islam.
