A senior Iranian cleric denounced the intriguing policy of the Zionist regime calling that an enemy of all religions and faiths.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in a meeting with top Lebanese cleric, Sheikh Abdul Amir Kabalan, criticized the intriguing policies of the Zionist regime and said the regime, in a bid to achieve it’s objectives, is not committed to any faith, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Iranian top cleric in this meeting expressed his views on the latest regional changes including Syria.

He also referred to the efforts of the enemies to bring rift among regional nations and stressed the necessity of unity to confront the efforts.

Ayatollah Araki touched upon the important status of Lebanon for ideological confrontation in the region and said,” Due to the long history of religious coexistence in Lebanon, World forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought launched its first bureau in this country.”

Vice-President of the Higher Lebanese Islamic Shiite Council, in this meeting praised the high stance of Islamic Republic of Iran in boosting unity among different Islamic denominations and noted,” Islamic proximity is quite important and it has to be followed based on the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) household.

Sheikh Abdul Amir Kabalan expressed sorrow over the crimes by the US and Zionist regime in the Christian city of Malula in Syria and said,” Religion and faith of the regional people is not important for the enemies and their crimes is bothering all the people.”
