Both leaders underscored the importance of elevating bilateral political, economic, and defense relations. They expressed satisfaction with the progress of their cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening these ties.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed Armenia's interest in greater collaboration within the framework of the North-South Corridor and leveraging its potential for economic and strategic benefit. He also paid tribute to the late Iranian President Martyr Rajaei and reiterated the commitment to achieving the previously agreed target of $3 billion in bilateral trade.
Additionally, the two sides discussed new areas of cooperation, particularly in constructing refineries and petrochemical facilities, signaling a broadening of their partnership in strategic sectors.
This meeting reflects a shared vision of fostering regional peace, enhancing mutual economic growth, and deepening bilateral ties in multiple fields.
