“Hajj is a manifest of determination, glory of Muslims.”

Mamusta Maroof Khaledi, Sunni prayer leader of Bijar, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the beginning of Hajj season saying Hajj pilgrimage is a trip to overcome ones ego and focusing on ones spirituality.

He stressed vigilance and knowledge as the preliminaries for Hajj pilgrimage to make the best of the opportunity.

He noted,” In the narrations and Hadiths by great Islamic figures, Hajj is a kind of Jihad, an arena to confront the enemies and manifest of glory and determination of Muslims.”

Mamusta Khaledi also highlighted the ceremony for disavowal of the infidels as the base of Hajj and noted that the ceremony has to be performed gloriously so that the arrogant powers do not interfere in the domestic affairs of Muslims.

He added that Muslims from all Islamic denominations have to voice their support for Islamic Awakening and make the best of the opportunity to show solidarity.

“Undoubtedly, Iranian pilgrims have a great responsibility during Hajj because they have to convey the unifying message of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on unity of Islamic denominations in Iran to the Muslim pilgrims from across the world.” he said.

Iranian Sunni cleric demanded Iranian pilgrims to be the harbingers of proximity and Islamic unity for all Muslims in the world.
