Iran launches new clinical research center, moves to reverse brain drain
Iran’s Institute of Medical Science and Technology at the University of Shahid Beheshti has launched new research clinic to compile and analyze clinical data.

Mojtaba Zare’ee, Iranian researcher, announced the launch of research center of clinical studies has realized with contributions of charity centers, NGOs and supports of Attar Foundations to collect clinical data on different medical technologies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Advisor to Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education stressed that the move will pave the way for completion of the process from an idea to a final asset in production of technologies as well as making great contributions to entrepreneurship in the country.
He added that the project does not confine to technologies necessary for a certain field of medicine rather includes all medical technologies.
According to the Iranian author, an advantage of the project has been attracting more than ten Iranian scientific elites educated from foreign universities making a move in reversal of brain drain.
Institute of Medical Science of Shahid Beheshti University has been active in biomedical engineering, nuclear medicine innovations, carrying out translational researches and performing clinical trials to study technologies in the field of health since 2015.
