Asian aid convoy arrives in Gaza Strip
An aid convoy carrying food and medical supply for Palestinians stranded in Gaza siege, has arrived in the Strip, according to Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The aid convoy started its journey in the Indian capital, New Delhi. It had passed through Iran, Turkey, Lebanon and Syria to reach Egypt and finally the Gaza Strip.

The activists say they want to display solidarity with the Palestinian people in their resistance against Israel.

The Asia 1 convoy, including 170 activists from over 15 Asian states, is carrying 1,000 tons of food and medical supplies.

Before reaching Egypt, Israeli troops shadowing the convoy and stop it under the pretext that the convoy entered free international waters illegally.

Some Israeli commandoes entered the ship and made inquiries with the members of convoy.

They asked about the aim of traveling and after that they get keep chasing it till the convoy reached Gaza Strip.
