Top Iranian cleric felicitates IRGC on successful military satellite launch
Senior Iranian cleric has issued a message on Sunday to laud the recent achievement made by Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) to launch and place the first military satellite in the orbit.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to Major General Hussein Salami, commander in chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) over successfully placing the first ever military satellite in its designated orbit, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The cleric called the effort another contribution to the Islamic Revolution and boosting the high scientific and military status of defendants of the country.
In part of his message, Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari said the achievement will boost the international stance of Islam and also strengthen the determination of Muslims to prevail peace across the globe.
“This effort will bring rays of hope to Muslims and world liberal nations” said the cleric in another part of his message to Major General Hussein Salami expressing hope for more achievements to be made by Iran’s elite military.
Iran’s IRGC successfully placed the first ever military satellite, Nour-1, in the orbit using a rocket which is also the country’s first three-stage launch vehicle to successfully deliver its load.
