Iran’s President Rouhani has issued a condolence message over loss of prominent proximity figure Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri hailing the late scholar as expressive presentment of Ahlul Bayt (AS) culture.

President Rouhani in his message issued on Tuesday hailed member of the Assembly of Experts as a pioneer of Islamic unity and expressive presentment of Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), culture, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iranian president lauded the late advisor of the Supreme Leader for long years of endeavor for promoting religious teachings, Islamic proximity and constant interaction with elites from across the world of Islam.
He hailed the great achievements by late Ayatollah Taskhiri, former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
President Rouhani offered his condolences with the Supreme Leader, seminaries, students and family of the late scholar.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, aged 76, passed away due to heart disease in a hospital in Tehran on Tuesday.
He served in several top positions among them as member of the Assembly of Experts, Member of Parliament, advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim World affairs and director of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
The late scholar was widely known for his efforts to promote solidarity among different Islamic denominations and his endeavors at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in Tehran.
