Lebanon marks martyrdom anniv. of Gen. Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Muhandes
World Union of Resistance Scholars and Association of Muslim Scholars have held ceremony to pay tribute to the senior resistance figures, Iran's IRGC commander of Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandes in the capital Beirut.

A number of Lebanese religious and political figures as well as representatives from different fractions delivered speech in this commemoration ceremony held in Assahah Center in Beirut on the first martyrdom anniversary of assassinated IRGC commander General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandes and their companions near Baghdad Airport, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Abbas Khameyar, Iran's cultural attaché in this ceremony called General Soleimani as the most influential person who foiled the US and Zionist plots in the Middle East region and noted that his strategic view was the reason which created the resistance in the region to change the equation of power and stop the second Sykes-Picot Agreement.
He hailed the military school and strategic thoughts by General Soleimani which was lauded by world military experts stressing that his strategies should be studied and taught in world military universities.
Iranian cultural figure in Lebanon also referred to the Jihadi diplomacy of General Soleimani and praised his role in resolving the domestic political issues.
He also highlighted support of General Soleimani for all freedom seeking movements across the globe and his ethical discipline which had made him popular among all people.
